The final eight celebs face the first semi-final, which sees panic during a relay challenge and creative juices stirred over a dream sandwich.

Fighting to stay in the competition are Joe Swash, Kem Cetinay, Melanie Sykes, Megan McKenna, Dion Dublin, Kadeena Cox, Su Pollard and Bez.

“MasterChef is taking over my life, I keep having these weird dreams about cooking,” says Bez.

Their teamwork is immediately put to the test as they are split into fours and tasked with making a two course meal in 20 minute relays. Each team has a duck and pears and the cooks must leave clues to help the next person

carry on.
