Drivers get points for speeding

THE following drivers had their licences endorsed by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates for speeding.

■■Stefan Wilson, 37, of Andrews Drive, Heanor, was fined £61 and given three points for driving at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Langley Mill, on January 15.

■■Lee Armstrong, 46, of Poppy Close, Tutbury, was fined £153 and given three points for speeding at 40mph in a 30mph limit in Main Street, Ticknall, on December 14.

■■Jesse Collingham, 24, of Sandringham Drive, Heanor, was fined £350 and given six points for speeding at 51mph in a 30mph limit in Nottingham Road, Ripley, on January 30.

■■Tom Dexter, 37, of Elvaston Drive, Littleover, was fined £120 and given six points for speeding at 79mph in a 50mph limit on Brian Clough Way, in Derby, on April 11.

■■Ian Hall, 43, of Highfields Park Drive, Derby, was fined £988 and given six points for speeding at 51mph in a 30mph limit in Duffield Road, Derby, on February 13.
