With its anarchic chaos and just-onthe-edge cheek, The Big Breakfast was an alternative morning show that was a massive hit in the 1990s.
It launched the careers of the likes of Chris Evans, Denise Van Outen and Zoe Ball. Don’t get too excited, this is only a one-off – although you can’t help but hope that its success might lead to a reboot.
Mo Gilligan and AJ Odudu host live from East London, and it’s yet to be seen if this naughty television will fill a morning show void.
