The need for speed signs to be visible

I READ in the Derby Telegraph that many motorists are justifiably penalised for speeding. I therefore assume it is important that all speed limit signs are easily visible.

However, in our countryside there are many places where vegetation partially obscures the signs.

Yesterday I noticed that one of the 30mph signs at Idridgehay was almost covered by foliage.

Please can the authorities make sure these and many other road signs are cleared of overgrowing vegetation for the safety of everyone.
