Town plans ice rink at Wonderland

BUXTON will have an ice rink as one of its main attractions as part of a Christmas Wonderland.

Starting on Saturday, November 20, the ice rink, along with children’s rides, Christmas stalls, food and drink stalls will be on offer and music for people to skate along to.

Santa will be his Grotto and they’ve even promised they have a plan if the weather is bad.

The wonderland will run from “early afternoon until 8pm each day” at the Pavilion Gardens, with the Christmas Tree and lights going up prior to November 20, with the lights being switched on outside the Crescent that night.
