LONG-TAILED TIT

This is a tiny, round bird with a very long tail, leading to its nickname of ‘lollipop’. Its colours of black, white and dusky pink are unlike any other garden bird. It is usually seen in family groups, which keep in contact as they move through the bushes with a constant ‘conversation’ of purring call notes. Juveniles have blackish face masks, and less pink plumage than adults.
