Top spot taken by Stones

TOP place went to Mr and Mrs D Stone in the latest Holbrook race as Burton & South Derbyshire Federation travelled to Honiton.

Pigeons were liberated at 10am in a south-west wind and the Stones led the way for Holbrook with a b/w/f cock doing 1607 yards per minute to finish ahead of 85 birds.

Kevin Mathews was second with a dark cock doing 1590, while B & S Stone were third with a dk/pied cock registering 1572.
