My shining light Annie Thompson
I light a candle.
You’re on my mind.
I watch the flame flutter from left to right.
The open window’s breeze catches the flame.
Oh, I wish I could shout your name. I open my mouth to whisper your name.
But no words come out.
The candle’s bright light glowing in front of me.
I look into the flame and see your bright shinning eyes looking at me. Your beautiful happy smiling, smile upon your face.
I lost you.
You are now gone.
But when I light my candle.
A light shining bright.
I see you.
As if you had never gone.
Oh how much I miss you. My beautiful star, shinning bright in the midnight sky at night.
My heart’s delight.
My Angel’s looking after you.
I still love you.
Before, now, forever and always.
