Approachable MP sorted our problem
OUR MPs have been getting a negative press recently so I would like to tell your readers of my recent experience.
Since January, my wife has been dealing with the dreaded bureaucratic brick wall known as the Department for Work and Pensions regarding its decision to stop her Personal Independent Payment following a short telephone interview.
In desperation I contacted our MP, Pauline Latham OBE, and, after finding out the relevant information, she managed in a few weeks to sort out the problem that we were unable to in six months.
My message is simple: our MPs are approachable and in many cases can assist the public with most problems, so if you need help please get in touch with them.
