STRICTLY COME DANCING SUMMER

-

Just seven million people watched Strictly last Saturday, the lowest launch show audience since 2010. It fell well short of last October’s Covid-delayed BBC series opener, which pulled in 8.6 million viewers, with some blaming the warm weather for the dip.

The recent sunny days have been a boon but the Autumn Equinox, on Wednesday, officially marked the first day of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. You’ll have that big coat and boots on before you know it.

ENERGY FIRMS

Avro Energy and Green were the latest energy suppliers to cease trading this month. Since wholesale gas prices have started to spike, a number of firms have collapsed.
