We need to value all occupations

MY late Dad used to recite an old wartime ditty about the private soldier.

It’s Tommy this and Tommy that, It’s kick him out, the brute.

But it’s good old Tommy Atkins When the guns begin to shoot.

Similarly, the pandemic has shown us that many with occupations that have been least valued are actually the ones we really need. Perhaps we are all equal in God’s sight and need to value one another and ourselves properly.
