Drivers are banned for no insurance

THE following drivers were banned from the roads by Southern Derbyshire Magistrate­s for driving without insurance.

■■Anthony Almeda, 37, of Mondello Drive, Derby, was fined £660 and banned for six months for an offence in Osmaston Road, Derby, on November 5, 2020.

■■Luke Bartlam, 20, of Burrows Close, Ripley, was fined £323 banned for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Butterley Hill, Ripley, on November 13, 2020.

■■David Hawkins, 41, of Woodville Road, Hartshorne, was fined £660 and banned for six months for an offence in Woodville Road, Overseal, on September 8, 2020.

■■Brendon McVarrie, 26, of Boyer Street, Derby, was fined £660 and banned a year for driving without insurance or a valid licence in London Road, Derby, on September 16, 2020.

■■Jigarkumar Dave, 50, of Grosvenor Drive, Derby, was fined £660 and banned for six months for an offence in Uttoxeter Road, Derby, on November 22, 2020.

■■George-Rocki Marcu, 26, of Forester Street, Derby, was fined £660 and banned for six months for driving without insurance in Abbey Street, Derby, on November 11, 2020.

■■Kayne Brown, 26, of Pittar Street, Derby, was fined £660 and banned for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Abbey Street, Derby, on August 27, 2020.

■■Brian Mubaiwa, 19, of Abbey Street, Derby, was fined £78 and banned for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Arbor Close, Derby, on August 30, 2020.
