Rescue team called out to injured climber
BUXTON Mountain Rescue Team went to the aid of a person who had fallen while climbing in Tideswell Dale in the Peak District.
The voluntary group were called out on Sunday afternoon to help paramedics and used a rope system to rescue the injured climber.
The team then carried the casualty down the steep slope to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
Buxton Mountain Rescue Team are on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year and are funded by public donations.
