A Royals warning from next opponent
DERBY County face one of the Championship’s in-form teams in Reading tomorrow night.
The Royals arrive at Pride Park Stadium having won their last three League games, against Peterborough United, Fulham and Middlesbrough.
They are ninth in the table on 13 points, while Derby sit bottom on minus two points having been docked 12 points after the club went into administration last week.
Reading boss Veljko Paunovic, in a warning to Derby, says there is still plenty more to come from his side, who have collected 10 points from the last 12.
“They (Derby) have to fight for their goals so it’s going to be a tough match,” he told BerkshireLive.
“We always play matches in a manner where we have to match our opponents while we look to put out an attacking performance that can give us a win, so we’ll see how that goes.
“We have to keep our feet on the ground and keep our focus only on the next match.
“I said this team were only going to get better and that is what is happening right now.
“Now we have to stay healthy. The team has confidence, the belief is there and the team is playing good football.
“We now have to focus on Derby, another very important match. We’ll keep our feet on the ground and keep rolling.”
