Beware dangers of new E10 at the pumps

-

REGARDING the people who are panic buying fuel and filling their tanks, are you aware that the petroleum E10 you are putting in your tank starts to decompose in as little as eight days?

Ethanol attracts water from the atmosphere and water being heavier than petrol sinks to the bottom of the vehicle fuel tank where it causes corrosion and gets sucked into the car’s engine by the fuel pump; you can’t compress water.

Do not fill up with E10 if you are not going use the car for an extended time unless you want a large garage bill!
