1,500 jobs for festive period

AMAZON is creating around 1,500 jobs in the East Midlands ahead of the Christmas period.

The company is hiring for 20,000 seasonal positions across its UK network of fulfilment centres, sortation centres and delivery stations during the festive season.

Roles are available at the Amazon centres in Kegworth, Sutton-in-Ashfield and Chesterfield. There will also be jobs up for grabs at delivery stations in Kegworth and Bardon, as well as at the sortation centre in Bardon.

Pay will start at £10 per hour, rising to £11.10 per hour in some areas for all full-time, part-time, temporary, or seasonal roles.

Amazon’s delivery station in Bardon is also looking for individuals to deliver parcels in their spare time for between £13 to £15 per hour. For details, visit jobsatamazon.co.uk
