Consider those without use of computers

-

I FOUND myself needing an Arriva Bus timetable Route 5-5A, so I went to Derby bus station, because I do not have, or indeed want, a computer.

The bus station was really busy with Arriva buses, so I go to the information office, only to be told they do not deal with Arriva timetables.

So I go to speak to a driver, answer, “we do not carry them, go to the bus stop notice boards’. “

All were empty, replaced with electronic signs that only tell you the time of the next bus, but not the one you need the next day, etc.

So I rang the company only to be diverted to a travel line, get charged 12p per minute, then cut off before being answered.

How can people without computers be expected to get access to Arriva buses when timetables are not available and phones are not answered?
