Drivers handed penalties for no insurance

THE following motorists had their licences endorsed with penalty points by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court for driving without insurance.

■■Andrew Lightfoot, 37, of Haydn Road, Derby, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance on the A38 at Palm Court, in Derby, on January 8.

■■Jody Ryan, 32, of Nerissa Close, Chellaston, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance or MOT in Marlborough Road, Allenton, on January 30.

■■Luke Dilks, 23, of Baker Avenue, Marlpool, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Western Drive, Heanor, on February 20.

■■Kevin Doherty, 53, of Etwall Road, Willington, was fined £440 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Griffin Close, Chellaston, on February 5.

■■Robert Dragomir, 22, of Mansfield Road, Chester Green, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Manor Road, Derby, on February 19.

■■Francisc Dumitru, 25, of Sinfin Lane, Derby, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Portland Street, Pear Tree, on February 21.

■■Kelly Fantom, 42, of Wheatley Avenue, Somercotes, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance on the A61 in Alfreton, on February 19, 2021.

■■Anthony Ley, 65, of Bown Close, Heanor, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Sir Frank Whittle Road, Derby, on January 29.

■■Karl Linney, 54, of Albany Street, Ilkeston, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Station Road, Ilkeston, on February 16.

■■Pawel Bieluch, 36, of Lapwing Close, Sinfin, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Blacksmiths Lane, Newton Solney, on August 20, 2020.

■■Miroslav Krajnak, 28, of Molineux Street, Normanton, was fined £400 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Ascot Drive, Derby, on October 23, 2020.

■■Twana Tofiq, 36, of Tennyson Street, Derby, was fined £400 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance in Lara Croft Way, Derby, on August 16, 2020.

■■Mohammed Kane, 21, of Barrie Drive, Sinfin, was fined £600 and banned for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Carlyle Street, Derby, on October 31, 2020.

■■Ashley Clarke, 37, of Welbeck Road, Long Eaton, was fined £400 and wanned for six months for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Town Street, Sandiacre, on October 10, 2020.
