Peaty’s ‘geek look’ impresses fans... but judges not so happy

STRICTLY Come Dancing judges gave Olympic champion and Twitter heartthrob Adam Peaty a hard time as he “went wrong a couple of times” in his week three dance.

Fans, however, were focused on one thing, which was, as usual, his outfit. Peaty and his partner Katya Jones danced the quickstep on Saturday as the Olympic gold medallist sported a “geek” look with glasses and tight trousers.

One fan on Twitter said: “To the person choosing Adam Peaty’s outfits, thank you” accommodated with the obvious peach emoji. Another said: “Adam Peaty? More like Adam Peachy.”

The judges, however, were less impressed, scoring the couple a total of 19. Shirley Ballas said: “You did have two little mistakes there, but you carried on, you picked it up, you did your very, very best. Anton Du Beke told the swimmer: “You went wrong a couple of times. The worst part about it was the frame.” Peaty admitted he wasn’t at his best. Explaining his mistakes, he said: “My face is like, it’s still going good but I’ve just messed up ten steps. I’m competitive, I wanna do well, but I want to have fun and I want to remember this experience and hopefully come back next week a little bit better.”
