The DerbyshireLive Business Awards, in association with Champions (UK) PLC, highlights these triumphs happening right on our doorstep with its diverse range of awards and titles. The encouraging run-down of remarkable work is inspiring for all to see, from finalists to winners these are the business elite putting our region on the map.
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 21, live at the Derby Arena. The glittering event will shine a spotlight on the success stories across the region while our business community gets the chance to catch up and network after a year apart.

SME BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Open to companies that normally employ no more than 250 full-time staff, and have a proven record of success. Judges will consider the prospective growth and development opportunities for the future of each business.

Companies will have demonstrated strong investment in employees as well having a reward scheme and other key benefits. It’s time to reward them, as they do their staff.
START-UP BUSINESS OF THE YEAR, sponsored by Wheeldon Brothers
Open to companies that have been in operation for a maximum of three years as of January 1, 2020. Judges will be tasked with analysing business plans, achievements to date and potential for growth.
BUSINESS ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR, sponsored by HUUB
Celebrates the individuals behind successful businesses. Judges will select finalists that best represent the business spirit of the region.
APPRENTICE EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR, sponsored by Futures
The finalists will have gone above and beyond to take on a number of apprentices and provide them with the support and training needed to kick-start their careers.
