I’m not sure what Sir Keir brings to party
AS a Labour Party member I’ve found Keir Starmer as party leader very disappointing, but I’m not really surprised. He may be intelligent and articulate, but there seems to be something lacking.
When he’s answering or asking questions he comes across as a lawyer in a courtroom rather than leader of the opposition – no passion or fire in his belly.
Being an old-style socialist I was never really happy with the election of Starmer as party leader because, being knighted, I, like many others, see him as part of the establishment.
