Car drove off after cyclist hurt in crash

POLICE are appealing for help to trace a car that left the scene of a collision in which a woman was left with multiple broken bones.

The victim, a woman in her 50s, was crossing Lord Street at its junction with Osmaston Park Road when a small blue car turned into Lord Street from Osmaston Park Road and collided with her, knocking her off her bike.

The car left the scene of the collision, which took place between 7.15pm and 7.45pm on Thursday, September 9, without stopping.
