We’ll see you soon, police tell driver who fled the scene of crash

POLICE have appealed for the driver of a car which overturned in Empress Road, Derby, yesterday to come forward.

The car involved ended up on its roof but the driver fled from the residential street.

Derby West Responders, who were first to attend the crash, have called in forensics investigators to identify the culprit who was behind the wheel. And they took to Twitter directly to appeal to the driver.

They tweeted at 5.07am: “#Group3 @DerWestResponse first on scene at this RTC at Empress Road, Derby.

“If it’s your car you ran off and left then feel free to get in touch as we have forensics pending to put you behind the wheel! #SeeYouSoon.”
