God save our Queen... and political leaders

‘GOD save our Gracious Queen’ has been sung heartily at many big occasions from Remembrance Days to cup finals for at least the last 70 years and happily our Queen is still alive and well.

If this shows that national prayer is answered, isn’t it time we updated our national anthem to include prayers for all our leaders to act graciously and wisely to bring about the social justice we all long for?

At our big occasions let us sing prayers for all the movers, shakers and influencers in our society and who knows what we could be celebrating in another 70 years time!
