A DERBY company has connected offices across four cities in the UK – and is working on a fifth – after winning a contract to provide state-ofthe-art IT services for the innovative series of workplaces.

L.E.A.D. IT Services provided the joined-up systems for CCTV, secure, super-fast internet, office access and meeting room bookings for Cubo offices in Derby – where it has its headquarters – Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds. They are currently working on Cubo’s fifth venture, in Chamberlain Square in Paradise, Birmingham.

Co-working and flexible office provider Cubo was set up in 2020 by Rebecca and Marc Brough, who took over the running of the former Post Office in Victoria Street, Derby; a Grade-II listed building.

They have chosen L.E.A.D. IT Services as their preferred IT services provider for the group, and have been delighted with the personable and efficient manner in which the work has been completed.

Rebecca said: “L.E.A.D. IT Services have enabled Cubo to offer excellent services to our members across all of the sites. We have a state-of-the-art Paxton system to ensure that only members access the buildings, a meeting room booking system, CCTV covering all sites and much more.

“Plus, L.E.A.D. are always on hand to deal with any emergency IT Issues – if we have any – and, as member of

Cubo Derby, it enables co-ordinating the works effortless.

“They’re a great company to work in partnership with and have pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything is working by any tight deadlines that we have given them.”

Lee Jepson, director of L.E.A.D. IT Services, added: “We absolutely love being based at Cubo Derby; there are loads of perks to being based there including printing services, barista coffee to get you going in a morning and use of the communal facilities.

“There is hot-desking on the ground floor and it’s great to meet new faces there.

“Not everyone has returned to the office post-covid and Cubo provides a great alternative to those who want an office-base but without having to pay upkeep bills.

“It’s bright, vibrant and there is a buzz at Cubo Derby every morning. “We are delighted to see how the Cubo brand has grown and would like to congratulate Rebecca and Marc on their latest Cubo venture.”
