Court deals with driving offences

THE following motorists have been punished for motoring offences by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates.

■■Dania Ali, 21, of Glossop Street, Derby, was fined £457 and banned for 28 days for speeding at 58mph in a 30mph limit in London Road, Derby, on September 19, 2020.

■■Ritchie Beard, 21, of Truro Crescent, Chaddesden, was fined £330 and banned for six months for speeding at 74mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby, on December 3, 2020.

■■Steve Campbell, 54, of Atkinson Gardens, Nuthall, was fined £247 and banned for six months for speeding at 57mph in a 50mph limit on the A52 in Derby, on March 21, 2021, and speeding at 60mph in a 50mph limit on the A610 bypass at Eastwood, on April 24, 2021.

■■Jasveer Kaur, 21, of Swallowdale Road, Derby, was fined £229 and banned for six months for driving without insurance in Uttoxeter Road, Derby, on May 15, 2021.

■■Nathan Hunt, 21, of Rockingham Close, Derby, was fined £532 and given three points for driving with four illegal tyres on the A6, at Ambergate, on June 11, 2021.

■■Jamie Falk, 31, of Nancy Road, Barnsley, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance in Sir Frank Whittle Road, Derby, on February 10, 2021.

■■Teresa Moloney, 41, of Ash Crescent, Ripley, was fined £180 and given six points for careless driving in Cromford Road, Woodlinkin, on March 4, 2021.

■■Sarah Alberts, 55, of Robincroft Road, Allestree, was fined £136 and given three points for failing to comply with a red light on the A38, in Derby, on August 28, 2021.

■■David Bailey, 37, of Overdale, Matlock, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance or licence on the A6, in Matlock, on August 28, 2021.

■■Gemma Barlow, 39, of Holywell Avenue, Codnor, was fined £660 and given six penalty points for careless driving and speeding at 56mph in a 40mph limit in Hassock Lane South, Shipley, on October 14, 2021.

■■Liam Barry, 32, of Osmaston Road, Derby, was fined £85 and given four points for speeding at 60mph in a 50mph limit and driving without a licence on the A52 in Derby, on August 19, 2021.

■■Umer Bashir, 33, of Reginald Street, Derby, was fined £660 and given six points for careless driving on the A38, at Willington, on August 31, 2021.

■■Shahid Mahmood, 49, of Thorn Street, Derby, was fined £220 and given three points for failing to comply with a red light in Osmaston Road, Derby, on March 6, 2021.
