Fea­tur­ing a line-up con­sist­ing of orig­i­nal Man­fred Mann singer Paul Jones and his 1966 re­place­ment Mike d’abo, along with found­ing mem­bers Mike Hugg and Tom Mcguin­ness, The Manfreds re­formed in 1991, with drum­mer Rob Townsend (drum­mer in prog rock band Fam­ily), Mar­cus Cliffe and Si­mon Cur­rie. The band’s hits come thick and fast – Do Wah Diddy, Pretty Flamingo, Sha La La and 5- 4-3-2-1. They also had in­di­vid­ual hits such as Hand­bags and Gladrags (Mike D’abo) and the Mcguin­ness Flint clas­sic When I’m Dead and Gone.
