They were fol­lowed by stu­dents from Ex­eter Col­lege with their Big Band pro­duc­tion, which was cer­tainly re­ceived with con­sid­er­able en­thu­si­asm by the for­tu­nate guests.

The en­ter­tain­ment was en­hanced even fur­ther by David Webb, highly ac­claimed in­ter­na­tional tenor and for­mer head cho­ris­ter at the Cathe­dral; Pamela Greener, wife of the Dean, with her and Ju­lia Feather­stone, our young Devon so­prano who epit­o­mised the spirit of the evening with her de­light­ful ren­di­tion of

These won­der­ful young per­form­ers, bring­ing fresh life and ex­cit­ing new tal­ents to the heart of Devon ex­em­plify the very best the re­gion has to of­fer and re­flects the strong and very worth­while foun­da­tion on which the Cathe­dral will plan its fu­ture.
