St Boniface is much cel­e­brated in the town of his birth. A few places, in ad­di­tion to the churches, where he can be en­coun­tered are: On ar­rival – the town’s name­plates bear his name and dates.

New­combe’s Meadow, a beau­ti­ful pub­lic open space in the cen­tre of town, where a grand statue has been raised and where a holy well is also ded­i­cated to him.

He also lives on in the name of a lo­cal ve­teri­nary prac­tice and many of the lo­cal roads are named af­ter Euro­pean places as­so­ci­ated with Boniface’s trav­els.
