SANDFORD ORCHARDS CIDER HAPPY BUTTER GHEE FIGGY’S PUDDING ROLY’S FUDGE

Devon Life - - Hamper Competition -

There are no concentrates, no artificial flavours or aromas in the ciders produced by Sandford Orchards, who select apples grown within 30 miles of their Crediton press. The company make cider properly - learning from the traditional Devonshire cider makers of yesteryear and shaping their techniques for the modern era. They only ever make cider from naturally fermented, freshly pressed juice. Our hamper contains a selection: Devon Mist, Devon Red, Old Blossom and Fanny’s Bramble. Happy Butter is a small artisan company in Devon making soil association certified organic ghee from UK organic butter. Their ghee is made in a traditional way in small batches to ensure quality and taste. Founders Rupert and Kate started making the ghee at home for cooking for health reasons. They now make that same homemade quality ghee on a slightly larger scale. This quality and taste has been appreciated by the judges at Great Taste Awards and the Taste of the West awards where in 2018 the company won gold this year. Husband and wife team Richie and Jo Evans are based in Devon and have always made their own Christmas puddings, often giving them as Christmas presents for friends and family. They received such glowing feedback that they decided to sell them, starting with just a hundred puddings which quickly sold out.

They have now been making and selling Christmas puddings for ten years and have customers all over the UK and Europe. The couple still hand make, wrap and dispatch all their puddings themselves, in small batches. Established for more than 30 years, Roly’s Fudge offers the best crumbly fudge you’ll ever find. Each of the company’s 38 Westcountry shops uses traditional recipes to make fresh fudge every day.

Roly’s Fudge started in 1987 when the founders started to make homemade fudge in their farmhouse cottage kitchen.

They decided to use natural ingredients whenever possible, and that it should be made with only traditional methods.

Our hamper contains a box of fudge, some Christmas Pudding fudge and a pouch of Salted Caramel Fudge Sauce.
