DARTMOOR ALE OTTER GARDEN CENTRES EVERSFIELD ORGANIC HAM CHRISTMAS TIDE BEER

Devon Life - - Hamper Competition -

At Dartmoor Brewery - the highest in England - they love making great beer and use only the finest ingredients: English malts, carefully selected hops, their own strain of yeast, and clear, pure Dartmoor Water. Their great beers come from a passion for the brewer’s craft, and a passion for their birthplace and home, Dartmoor National Park. Our hamper contains awardwinning Jail Ale – a full-bodied, deep golden brown beer, with a well-rounded flavour and a rich, moreish aftertaste – and Legend, a classic caskconditioned beer. Otter Garden Centre preserves are made in the kitchens at the Ottery St Mary garden centre and are very popular with customers. Included are a seasonal cranberry and orange sauce, an awardwinning blackcurrant jam and this year’s new flavour, Victoria Plum jam, made from a glut of fruit collected locally. Your Christmas ham should be unforgettable, a succulent and delicately flavoured joint, ready to slice at the table. Eversfield’s organic ham is dry cured, marinated and then flash roasted with honey for a tender, beautifully flavoured centrepiece. Produced from the finest organic pigs, bred and reared outdoors to the highest welfare standards. Salcombe Brewery Co’s limited edition yuletide ale, Christmas Tide, is sold in bottles and gift packs as well as bag-in-boxes and on draught. Brewer, Sam Beaman comments: “We always enjoy brewing this festive favourite and we are delighted that popular demand has led to us bottling it as well as producing it in casks this year. So not only will it be available to enjoy in your local in the run up to Christmas, but you will also be able to put it on your Christmas list. The gift packs are the perfect present for any beer-lover.” Christmas Tide (ABV 4.9%) is a well-structured, malt driven beer. The crystal, chocolate and wheat malts bring warmth and body to the beer, ideal for a winter’s day. The plethora of hops build on the chocolatey malt base and add a bittersweet finish.
