Wicked Wolf Ex­moor Gin is the orig­i­nal award-win­ning pre­mium hand­crafted gin made from botan­i­cals dis­tilled on Ex­moor. The 11 botan­i­cals are in­di­vid­u­ally dis­tilled and then ex­pertly blended on the banks of the pic­turesque River Lyn, North Devon. Pas­sion­ate about gin, hus­band and wife team, Pat Pa­tel and Julie Heap, are the faces be­hind the ex­cit­ing new ven­ture. The per­fect com­bi­na­tion of 11 ex­otic botan­i­cals pro­duces com­plex lay­ers of cit­rus and pep­per notes. Set up by hus­band and wife team Andy and Claire Bur­net, Chococo has been mak­ing fine fresh hand­made choco­lates since De­cem­ber 2002 on the Juras­sic Coast. The cou­ple be­lieve they were one of the first UK ar­ti­san choco­latiers to pi­o­neer mak­ing truly fresh choco­lates, us­ing lo­cally sourced sea­sonal in­gre­di­ents, in­clud­ing lo­cal fresh cream, blended with fine ori­gin choco­late and no ad­di­tives or preser­va­tives. chococo.co.uk The Bar is the new range of choco­late bars cre­ated by Sal­combe Dairy, al­ready renowned for their de­li­cious ice creams. To make their Bean To Bar choco­late the com­pany sources or­ganic, fairly traded ca­cao from the Peru­vian rain­for­est and melange these ca­cao nibs in Sal­combe with raw cane sugar be­fore conch­ing, tem­per­ing and mould­ing into choco­late of the high­est qual­ity. Clas­sic English wines are pro­duced at Sharpham vine­yard near Totnes as a re­sult of a happy mar­riage of soil, cli­mate and grape va­ri­ety known as ter­roir. In the win­ery, the com­pany em­ploys both New World and tra­di­tional tech­niques to best de­velop the unique re­gional char­ac­ter­is­tics. Our ham­per in­cludes a bot­tle of Sharpham sparkling re­serve ex­tra brut, a clean and com­plex, tra­di­tional method English sparkling wine. The palate is fresh, and clean with del­i­cate stone fruit flavours and a touch of salty min­er­al­ity. The fin­ish is long and clean and a true ex­pres­sion of the South Devon fruit and cli­mate.
