South Sands in Sal­combe is one of the more se­cluded dog friendly beaches, a won­der­ful place to en­joy a quiet walk with loved ones.

Braun­ton Bur­rows is an Un­esco Bio­sphere Re­serve, which has 1,500 acres of dunes to play, hide or snooze in all year round.

Buck Mills beach is a rocky se­cluded cove at the bot­tom of the pic­turesque vil­lage. It is quiet most of the time so great for a re­laxed stroll.
