To mark it’s 20th an­niver­sary, Coodes Solic­i­tors hosted a cel­e­bra­tion party in Holswor­thy, along with clients, sup­pli­ers and rep­re­sen­ta­tives from lo­cal busi­nesses. Guests en­joyed a bar­be­cue in Coodes’ court­yard gar­den and a 20th an­niver­sary cake to mark the firm’s two decades in the town. Coodes Solic­i­tors Part­ner Pam Johns said: “Over the last 20 years, Coodes has re­mained com­mit­ted to Holswor­thy and sur­round­ing area. As well as de­vel­op­ing strong links with many lo­cal busi­nesses, we work closely with the lo­cal farm­ing com­mu­nity and have es­tab­lished a spe­cial­ist agri­cul­tural law team to sup­port them. We would like to thank ev­ery­one who has en­abled us to grow in Holswor­thy over the last 20 years. We look for­ward to work­ing with you as we con­tinue to serve the needs of the lo­cal com­mu­nity in the fu­ture.”

As an award-win­ning char­tered me­chan­i­cal en­gi­neer, James has a wealth of con­sul­tancy ex­pe­ri­ence, in­clud­ing work on lo­cal, na­tional and in­ter­na­tional projects rang­ing from £100k - £650m. SDS of­fers a plethora of me­chan­i­cal and elec­tri­cal en­gi­neer­ing ser­vices and de­signs in­no­va­tive, flex­i­ble and en­ergy-ef­fi­cient so­lu­tions to cre­ate ex­cep­tional en­vi­ron­ments for liv­ing, work and leisure across the South West. THE TWO MOORS FOR CAREMOOR

con­clude the an­nual clas­si­cal mu­sic Two Moors Fes­ti­val across Ex­moor and Dart­moor, a gen­er­ous con­tri­bu­tion of £500 was do­nated to Caremoor for Ex­moor. The do­na­tion fol­lows a re­cent char­ity fundrais­ing auc­tion at Cas­tle Hill and the money raised will go to­wards con­ser­va­tion and ac­cess work within the Na­tional Park. Philip Kiberd, Co-or­di­na­tor of the Caremoor for Ex­moor Scheme, said: “The Two Moors Fes­ti­val’s sup­port for Caremoor is hugely ap­pre­ci­ated and re­flects a grow­ing part­ner­ship be­tween the Fes­ti­val and Ex­moor Na­tional Park Au­thor­ity, fo­cused on keep­ing this fan­tas­tic Na­tional Park spe­cial for ev­ery­one to en­joy.”
