REVIEW OF 2018

Devon Life - - The Diary - By SU CARROLL

We are some lucky in the Westcountry to have such a rich cultural heritage and 2018 saw Devon theatres go from strength to strength. And it’s not just the bigger commercial theatres that are thriving.

In Paignton a Community Interest Company was established to take over the running of the Palace Theatre from Torbay Council. They moved in on 1 May and embarked on what might be regarded as an ambitious programme of events, including a Christmas panto, Mother Goose.
