SOLD FOR: £1,387.88

BIDS: 18

An incredibly rare Corgi No 238 Jaguar Mark X shop display stand that was issued to dealers from late 1961 to early 1962, to promote the latest Corgi Jaguar car – complete with the leaping Jaguar logo on the corners. This is believed to be the only one of its kind to have survived and was acquired from the now closed Samsons of Mansfield Toy Shop. Looking unused, the colours are really sharp and vibrant, and has been stored flat in an old envelope.

TITLE: Pre-war Dinky No 36c Vogue Saloon with tinplate driver and footman

SOLD FOR: £920.00

BIDS: 36

Bought in a street market a few years ago, never having seen one this colour before, the seller realised on picking it up that it was the pre-war version with tinplate passengers. It is a pre-war Dinky Humber Vogue 36c with, as Dinky stated, “driver and footman”. It has stood the test of time well with no zinc-pest/ fatigue. The paint has light rubs and chips. The original radiator/headlight unit is intact with both its retaining tags. The tyres are hard but look original.
