This auction is for a scarce and seldom seen variation in gorgeous and very, very near mint and boxed original condition (the only reall blemish is a chip to the frame of the windscreen). Normally found with a red interior, this variation with the white interior is an exciting find.
This model was purchased new in the 1960s (straight into an adult collection) and has been carefully stored for decades since then. The model features an original dark yellow finish, black baseplate, and yellow plastic hubs/wheels.

TITLE: Pre war Dinky 23 racing car - incredibly rare

A fine example of the very first Dinky of its type. In 1933/34, right at the very start of Meccano Dinky Toys production, the company’s first racing car was introduced - based on the MG 'Magic Midget' racing car used to set records by George Eyston. This is one of the very first and is extremely rare.
It is differentiated by the fact that there is no driver, no exhaust pipe (only stubs) and that the axles - on yellow hubs - are rounded at one end and crimped at the other.

Original Corgi Toys Gift Set 31, Buick Riviera Boat Set, made between 1964 and 1968. In all original condition, all component parts are very good, graded at 9.5/10, although may have the odd nick/scuff. The Buick is plae blue and the set is complete, with all parts and figures. The sticker on the boat is pristine.
The box is in all original condition too, very good, graded at 9.+/10, with just a slight teat to one side of the box. The set comes complete with a lightly-creased and folded club leaflet.
