TITLE: Dinky Pre-War 280k Delivery Van 'H.G. Loose'

Pre-war Type 2 Delivery Van, in green with black smooth hubs. 'H.G. Loose' and 'Looe, Phone 125' logos in cream and black on both side panels. Somewhat inevitably, due to its age, this otherwise wonderful model is suffering with metal fatigue. Lots of fine cracks and some delamination splits to the body work, with some distortion. Although in fragile condition, it’s still a lovely example of this rare little model.

Original paint, all wheels and tyres present, all decals present. No major damage. Clean and tidy example. Although the condition is good, defects are present. These include slight paint chips on the black wheel arches, red tanker has slight damage to ladder next to the cab, red plastic tang at rear is missing, plastic noddie just above decal on offside is missing, and decals are showing signs of age/transparency.

TITLE: Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Pre-production Y-3 Riley MPH

Acquired from a Lesney designer as one of a pair of models due for release, but then delayed. The radiator on this version is slanted back, just as it was on the real car, and the excellent cast wheels were dropped in favour of the new, standardised wheels. This model was sprayed in quite a thick coat of white paint and unplated plastics were used. There is no knowing why the radiator was straightened for production.
