“This photo is part of the ‘circus mood’ series, one that I’m very fond of. I created the ‘circus mood’ for a special one-to-one workshop. I’ve always been fascinated by the circus; for me it means emotion, colour, mystery, a representation at the edge between tragic and comic. The model is Ana, a friend who is very dear to me because of her beautiful soul as well as her distinct physiognomy.”
