You often need a great deal of patience before you can nab that ideal shot

“My favourite image has to be the one i shot at Porth nanven Beach, which i named Metamorphosis. i thought this was quite a fitting title seeing as the nature of the place has kept on changing over the years i have visited this spot. i’d been seeking this image for over four years, since spotting the composition during a sunset shoot on a short break. Having tried many times, i just could not get all the elements correct; whether it was the tide or the clear blue skies, nothing went right for me. During a recent photography trip, i finally managed to work out the tide and weather and everything just came together for this original take on a classic location.”
