SONY 24MM FAST PRIME IS ANNOUNCED

Sony has announced the 24mm f/1.4 G Master lens for its full-framer Alpha-series cameras. It uses a new Direct Drive SuperSonic Motor to keep size and weight down while enabling fast focusing. A (de-clickable) aperture ring speeds exposure adjustment.

SAMSUNG GALAXY A9 QUADRUPLE LENS PHONE REVEALED

While Apple stuck with two cameras for the iPhone XS, Samsung has trumped Huawei’s triple camera system and incorporated a quadruple camera system with an 8Mp ultrawide camera, 10Mp telephoto camera, 24MP main camera and a 5Mp depth camera in the Galaxy A9.

GOPRO HERO7 UNVEILED

GoPro has announced three versions of its Hero7 action camera: the Black (£379/$399), Silver (£279/$299) and White (£179/$199). The 12Mp Black’s main selling points over the others is its removable battery, 4K 60P video capability and HyperSmooth stabilisation system.
