Choose to hand con­trol over sen­si­tiv­ity to your cam­era for fewer missed im­ages

in past dig­i­tal cam­era gen­er­a­tions, when noise con­trol was less ad­vanced, auto isO was best avoided. how­ever, to­day it is a gen­uine op­tion for en­sur­ing your shut­ter speed does not drop be­low a pre­set min­i­mum. it is pos­si­ble to pro­gram a base set­ting, such as 1/1,000sec, and have the cam­era se­lect an ap­pro­pri­ate isO to main­tain or ex­ceed this. For low-light or ac­tion pho­tog­ra­phy this is ben­e­fi­cial for en­sur­ing im­ages are not ren­dered soft through cam­era shake at longer fo­cal lengths, when the shut­ter speed drops un­ex­pect­edly.
