EXPLORE WIRELESS TRIGGERING ALTERNATIVES

While built-in flash triggers offer convenience, they are not necessarily the most reliable solution

UNIVERSAL TRANSCEIVER

Photographers operating flash systems containing multiple brands can experience compatibility issues between triggers and slave units. Investing in a collection of universal transceivers, such as the Cactus V6 series, enables multi-brand flashes to be used in unison, preventing the need to replace speedlights for same-brand examples.

THE RADIO ADVANTAGE

Radio triggers offer significantly higher reliability than optical or infrared methods, since radio signals can pass through the majority of common obstacles that a photographer may encounter. The range is also greater – often over 100 metres – so have become the favoured solution for many professional photographers.
