NEW WATERPROOF COMPACT FROM RICOH

Ricoh’s WG-60 is built with adventure and bad weather in mind

-

Waterproof down to 14m, functional down to -10°C and built to survive a drop from 1.6m plus forces of up to 100kg, the WG-60 is the latest in the line of rugged cameras from Ricoh. Housing a 16MP 1/2.3-inch sensor, 28-140mm (equivalent) lens, nine-point AF system and 68MB internal memory, the new camera is designed for outdoor enthusiasts and thrill seekers. With 25 scene modes, Face Detection and Smile Capture, ease of use is high on the agenda. The camera is also compatible with Toshiba FlashAir wireless-enabled SD memory cards to enable images to be transferred quickly to a smartphone.

There’s also a Digital Microscope mode with lighting from six LEDs around the lens, to help you capture details that are too small to be seen by the naked eye. A macro stand is provided with the camera to help make the best of this feature, but the image size is limited to just 2 million pixels, so it’s really a digital zoom.

?? ?? ADVENTURE-READY The WG-60 is available in black or red and is described by Ricoh to be a “rugged chassis you can rely on in the harshest conditions”
