FOCUS STACKING
The LX100 II gains the Post Focus and Focus Stacking features that merge stills from a 4K movie in-camera.
4K PHOTO MODE
The new camera adds a handy Auto Marking to help you find the best 8MP frames to save from a 4K Photo clip shot at 30fps.
NO TILT
The three-inch screen is touch-sensitive but it’s also fixed so you can’t tilt it to give a clearer view when shooting low down.
ASPECT RATIO
A switch lets you change aspect ratio quickly and encourages you to make this composition decision before shooting.
HOTSHOE
There’s no pop-up flash built in but a small (GN 7 @ ISO 100) external flash unit is provided to slip into the hotshoe.
DEPTH OF FIELD
As the sensor is large for a compact camera and there’s a max aperture of f1.7-2.8, you can blur backgrounds in images.
