SHOOT FROM THE HIP
Try this useful but unpredictable approach
This involves using the camera at waist level, so no one knows that you’re taking a photograph. it’s a sneaky way to shoot candids at close proximity in places such as markets, busy trains, and even in elevators – and the low viewpoint adds an interesting perspective. You can’t see what you’re getting in the shot (unless you can flip your camera’s rear screen), but that’s all part of the fun. Focus either using AF or by zone focusing manually, use a wide lens such as 28mm or 24mm and take a test exposure reading before shooting – you may need to increase the isO to maintain a decent shutter speed, especially if you’re shooting indoors.
