POSED OR IMPULSIVE?
Both staged and spontaneous images can have their charm
Getting candid shots involves capturing pets’ natural behaviour when they don’t know you’re watching – think dogs flailing into the sea or cats asleep upside down in their basket. Take these images on the spur of the moment whenever your camera is set up.
Posed shots, on the other hand, offer portraits of animals on their best behaviour, or looking their cutest. With longer set-up times, animals can often get bored and wander off, so stay patient and keep the sessions short each time.
