This is a versatile bag designed to be combined with Peak Design’s new packing cubes and pouches. With the small cube retailing for £29/$30 and the Camera Cubes starting at £49/$50, the price of organising your gear can soon mount up, but everything is manufactured to a high standard and a lot of thought has gone into the design.

The main compartment, where the cubes can be stowed, can be opened from the back for full access, or via either side if you just want to reach in for your camera. Inside the main flap, there’s also a laptop and tablet sleeve. Around the front there’s an organisation section with several zipclosing pockets. This area can be expanded by 10L to give the full 45L capacity, but that takes it beyond the usual carry-on size.

There are pockets and handles dotted around the bag and the straps can be hidden away.
