With all the fuss about full-frame mirrorless cameras, does this mean the end for smaller formats? After all, it sounds like all the makers care about right now is full-frame... But stand by for a fightback. Olympus has confirmed its commitment to the Micro Four Thirds format with the super-fast, pro-orientated OM-D E-M1X – still the cheapest way to build a professional camera/lens system – and Sony’s dived straight back into the APS-C mirrorless market with its own brand-new model, after we thought it had lost interest. As for Fujifilm, its excellent X-mount cameras are built around the APS-C format.
