TOKYO OLYMPICS WILL DETERMINE THE WINNER

With the 2020 Olympic Games taking place in July, Canon and Nikon’s coyness about announcing release dates for their pro cameras is ridiculous. Tokyo will be a direct battleground between the Sony A9 II, the Canon EOS-1D X Mk III and the Nikon D6. Olympus and Panasonic are hopeful that the sidelines will see plenty of E-M1X and S1 bodies in photographers’ hands, but Tokyo will be a three-horse race – and our money is on Canon continuing to dominate, but Sony could leapfrog Nikon for the pros.
